They're Back! (Maybe)

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK ARE REUNITING!!!! Maybe. And I am on a emotional rollercoaster. People.com first reported on Saturday that a reputable source claimed the boys from Boston were getting back together.  However, yesterday Danny Wood (the one nobody liked) made a statement on his MySpace page refuting the claim "I wanted to address the rumors of the NKOTB Reunion Tour. There has been no talk of this and you are getting it from source directly. Never say never, and you can't believe everything you read."
So first I was this ball of excitement, texting and emailing everyone I could about this joyous event.  Then Danny Wood (my least favorite) is all like noooo, it ain't happening. So then I cried. But here's what is keeping my hope alive; 1. The New Kids website, which has been dormant for awhile, is up and running now.  The site has flickering pictures of the good old days and even has a mailing list.  2.  Peeps are still buzzing about it on all the blogs, even on the news and The View!  3.  Update!  Danny (who I still like the least) then had this to say on his MySpace page. "I loved being a part of the group, and have always thought "maybe someday we'll get back together" – you just never know when your someday will come. I can guarantee all the fans that if this reunion were to happen, they would hear about it first on www.NKOTB.com"
Again, my spirits are soaring.  Danny's follow up statement in conjunction with the newly vamped website equals REUNION in my mind.  If there is a god in pop culture heaven, then this will come true.  It must!  There are too many fans to say no to.  I need you Jordan! I need to hear you sing sweet harmonies with Joey. I don't care if Jon is old or that Donnie probably won't wear his ripped jeans or if Danny is a shit talker. American ladies (aged 25-35) want this, and we will have it.  Plus reunion tours and nostalgia are all the rage these days, who'd say no to that kind of money?!
