American Idol winner David Cook and runner up David Archuleta both arrived in the Big Apple yesterday to begin the whirlwind that is comes with the title of being a finalist! The two Davids, who will be playing the Today Show among other stops this week, are such good pals now that they even rode the same plane together! (Although (and I don't want to get all morbid or anything) haven't we learned that you can't put two different performers on the same flight?! Ya know, the day the music died, etc...) Anyhow those two should invest in a good pair of ear plugs because the screams of girls around the country when they perform is going to be deafening. Congrats again, guys!
Looks like Cook is already tired and annoyed with being in the limelight. David Archuleta looks as cute as ever with his smile. David Archuleta looks more approachable for an autograph, while Cook looks a bit grumpy.

David Cook is so annoying. I'm sorry. He's nice but annoying. He's totally going with that stereotypical rockstart image. It's obnoxious. He's already acting like he's too cool for the room while Archuleta is all smiles. I think it's obvious what's about to happen. Cook is going to never be out of the media.
Archuleta is one happy boy. I haven't seen even a hint of anything negative from this kid. His parents are so lucky to have such a great teenager. It doesn't hurt that he's tremendously talented. This kid deserves so much success.
I think David A is on cloud nine. He is always flashing that beautiful smile. His talent is enormous, I can't wait for him to put out a record. Congrats David A on being a class act.
david's security was all over him and he's tickleish. too cute.

yeah DC looks super tired. and Jenny i totally agree - DC looks like a smug celeb already sick of the paparazzi (although i'm sure it's just sleep deprivation) but archie like "HI WORLD! watch me smile" which is why i love him... until the end of time. :)
It looks like Cookie has already got that look that celebs have when the paparazzi are following them around, while David A is still all smiles

Poor David Cook looks royally exhausted. Still hot, but definitely tired. I know everyone wants interviews and photoshoots but I wish they could let the poor boy sleep for a week and then get back to him when he's rested.

I'm pretty sure Archie is more fatigued than Cook-I mean, the kid still has to do homework! Yet he's the one that's all smiles and looking great, and Cook looks like he's too cool for the cameras. I can't stand people who do that, and the sad part is that I knew this was the way Cook was going to act after Idol....
Thank God for David Archuleta!
