Celebrity pug, Mimi LaRue, has sadly passed away at the age of 11. Mimi was the beloved dog of actress Tori Spelling. "I'm devastated," Tori tells People magazine of her pet. "She was not just a dog but a fashion icon and legend amongst Hollywood dogs...She received fan e-mail on a regular basis, and I often joked she got sent more designer clothes than me!" Mimi had been suffering from medical problems for years but died in the comfort of her home surrounded by Tori, husband Dean, Liam, 1, and newborn Stella.
"She was a loving pet and a true diva to the end," Tori adds. Rest in peace Mimi La Rue...don't fade away.
i love dogs and lost my own 2 years ago. Sophie was her name, have fun Mimi with Sophie and I'll see ya up there.
I was so sad to hear of mimi's passing. The main reason I watched their show was to get a passing glance of mimi larue in all her gloriousness. I have 2 pugs that are the world to me, one from a rescue. Maybe when the time is right another pug from the rescues could be in order. There are so many out there needing love.
I'm so sorry and sad to hear of the death of little mimi. I too have a pug named Lu Lu Belle Farina. I watch Tori & Dean on Oxygen daily and always was treated to see photos of Mimi La Rue. This is a sad day for the pug world!
Her lips seem delicious~~~She is stunning and I want her kiss,LOL. But I am so sad that she has not login richromances.com for three weeks. What happend? You have found someone?
news like this make me TERRIFIED of loosing my own two dogs. they're young, but you don't know what fate has planned. no matter when it happens, i hope we go together because i won't be able to survive it.
i sooo loved miss mimi. she was always so fabulous. when i found out that she had died, i almost started to cry. the world just became a little less fabulous.
