It's sad when a muppet is dressed better than an actual human being.  Jessica Simpson showed up to the Macy's 150th Anniversary party last night and it looks like she was specifically modeling some new items from the homewears department.  I'm not sure if that's actually a vest or a chopped up down comforter with a fur collar sewn onto it.

People/puppets who did get it right were Eva Mendes looking sexy as usual in a red satin dress and Big Bird who kept it formal in a bow tie and cuff links.  (His friend Elmo, btw, wore nothing at all...pretty ballsy move for an event of this caliber).
