Simon Cowell's former lover, Terri Seymour, is recovering today at home after she was allegedly attacked following the finale of American Idol in Los Angeles last night.

Police are investigating the incident after suspect Janice Thibodeaux reportedly set upon Terri.

TMZ says Thibodeaux was booked on felony battery. She's being held on $52,700 bail.

Terri apparently refused medical treatment. She was escorted out of the complex by three cops.
