Not only was Paris Hilton's last movie an unmitigated howler...it could leave her $8m out of pocket. OUCH!!

Yes, the pouting socialite was forced to appear before a court judge in Miami today to answer questions about the film, Pledge This.

Film bosses claim Paris didn't do anywhere near enough to promote the movie, which is what she was legally obliged to do as part of her contract.

The lawsuit alleges Hilton did not honor an agreement to promote the DVD release. The lawsuit seeks more than $8 million from Hilton and her team.

Hilton claims she did everything she could to push the film...in between partying, which is, of course, what she was put on earth to do.
