She looks just like Katie, I can't see Tom's influence in her yet at all. She is as cute as a button, but I do notice Tom is precariously missing.

Hello People, open your eyes. Katie is wearing a long coat because she is filming a movie! If you know anything about movie sets or have just looked at a ton of paps pics (and I know you have) then you will see that all actors when not filming but still on the set are given those same long coats to keep warm. Look at what Katie is wearing...she's in shorts for heaven's sake. It part of her outfit for the movie.

Oh and most of the people on here should stop being so freakin judgmental, jealous and hateful of Katie, Tom and Suri. The girl is not fond of wearing pants -- Katie said that a long time ago and even got excited when Suri finally decided to let them put her in pants -- and she OBVIOUSLY doesn't get all that cold. At least by adult standards and apparently those haters on this board. Suri is a little girl - very much the girly girl and I think it's cute and great to see a child so young able to express herself.

And lastly, Suri's parents are BOTH Tom and Katie. It's obvious...the girl looks exactly like both of them & always has. So, to all the skeptics, instigators, haters and jealous people on here find something else to talk about cuz the question of legitimacy and non-sense alien talk is old news and you all sound really stupid constantly bringing it up. Oh wait...I get it...you bring it up because that's all you have to talk about. Try something new like Tom's hair (wait...it's been done), maybe Katie's lack of a career (nope, she's steadily working while being a full-time mother and wife to a man that adores her), Katie's sense of style (stop...look in the mirror first), Suri's hair (oops, they did in fact comb it out of her face...YES, finally). Hmm, I can't think of anything new. Sorry for you!

Parents who pay attention know that most kids tend to feel warmer than the adults around them feel. Suri is old enough to tell her mom if she feels cold. Do you really think Kate would keep a coat away from Suri if she was chilly? Clearly Kate loves and adores her baby girl! Instead of ripping on Kate, how about complimenting her on doing a great job as a mom? She is always out playing with her and spending time with her. Can you imagine trying to balance giving your child normal experiences under all the media glare? Moms really need to stop being so judgmental and support each other!

Rich people have body guards and nanny's walking behind them, they are wearing the coat for the kid.

Another theory: it was not so cold but Katie was sick with something and thought she needs thick coat.

my son never wants a coat and runs around in just sweats or a hoodie when the rest of us are bundled up in 3 layers.....some people are just warm natured...she doesn't seem uncomfortable so leave her alone...oh...and my dog also has that toy....it is a dog toy...but when my kids were small and we would pass the dog toys in the grocery store...they would still want them and not understand that a stuffed animal was a "dog toy'. whatever people!

She is such a cute little girl. One of my kids was NEVER cold as a young child. He was always taking off his jackets, and losing them. He didn't sleep with blankets on either. After awhile we just had to accept that we had an alien child on our hands, and stop worrying about it. lol

She is also missing her high heels, not just her coat.

If the child never wears outerwear and is never sick, then maybe she's not from our earth.

Katie & Tom have stated in interviews that Suri doesn't like wearing coats, so they don't make her. As Scientologists they think of children as little adults, so they don't think they should make her wear the coat.

For god's sake leave this child alone. The obsession with her is a sign of a very sick society.

When will Holmes demand her prenup money of $10 million, get her divorce & walk away with Suri? Does anyone know if Suri was part of the prenup even though she's has no DNA belonging to Cruise?

Maybe it's really not that cold so the kiddie would need a cold, but the mom has to wear the big coat for reasons like:
- the script requires it.
- she is pregnant and is trying to hide it from the "candid" cameras around lest she and hubbie should loose the exclusive photo rep and the fat check that comes with it ...

Kate is on location and doesn't look ill to me but it's possible she looks the way she does due to makeup and costume related to the movie she's shooting.

I have said this before: This child is never dressed in clothes appropriate to cold weather. Is this a scientology thing or an ignorant parents thing?

Why is mom bundled up in a winter coat and boots and the little girl is in just a dress?

She's married to Tom Cruise. I imagine that'd make anyone ill.

It seems odd that Mom is in a winter coat... Suri... not so much. Kate looks ill. What's up with that?
