Australian cutie Abbie Cornish looked stunning dressed all in white at a photocall for her upcoming Jane Campion-directed movie Bright Star at the Cannes Film Festival earlier today. The flick is about the torrid love affair between poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne. Abbie, 26, (who plays Fanny) posed with co-star Ben Wishaw (Keats), and we're told her boyfriend Ryan Philippe was in the wings to lend his support too.

We spotted Ryan Phillipe and Abbie Cornish for a night out on the town in Abbie's native Australia. The two, dressed to the nines, left their Syndney hotel and took a water taxi Cockatoo Island; how romantic! The couple will spend the holidays down under.

Last night, my favorite knock off store, H&M hosted the Exclusive Celebrity Shopping Event for The Season's Fashionable Gifts at their store on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles.  Mischa Barton, Nicole Richie, Ryan Phillipe and his lady Abbie Cornish stopped by the store to check out the hottest items for the holiday season with out being bothered by the hustle and bustle of the normal crowds (so I guess they are better than us).

        

Now that Ryan Phillipe's divorce from Reese Witherspoon has been finalized, he and new girlfriend Abbie Cornish are starting to get comfortable in the limelight. The couple were spotted attending a friend's bbq in Los Angeles over the weekend and were all smiles and holding hands. "Ryan definitely has a thing for her, and things are always good when they're together," a source tells US Weekly. 
Ryan's ex, Reese, has recently moved boyfriend of one-year Jake Gyllenhaal into her California home.  Ryan has also moved on, purchasing a $7 million home in the Hollywood Hills where reportedly he and Abbie have been spending a lot of time together.  Who wants to bet that she'll be preggers by the end of the year?!

    

Stars arrived at the 3rd Annual Australia MTV Video Music Awards this weekend, dressed to impress.  We saw plenty of winning styles with our favorite being Nicole Richie’s metallic one-shoulder gown with long pleated skirt.  However, Abbie Cornish failed miserably with her frumpy black sweater, neutral skirt and black boots.  Click on the next page to see what Pink, Fergie, Kristin Cavallari and The Veronicas wore to the Sydney event.
