Marley & Me premiered in New York City last night with a slightly different twist; this time the guest of honor weren't glamorous actors but dogs!

Everyone from Denis Leary to Abigail Breslin brought their pet pooches to check out the movie that centers around a mischievous labrador. Also in attendance were gossip columnist Cindy Adams with her terriers and Beth Ostrosky with her bulldog. Benefits from the special doggy premiere benefited the Humane Society. 

      

Abigail Breslin was on hand for the premiere of her new movie Kit Kittredge: An American Girl in Los Angeles over the weekend.  Based on the American Girl Dolls and the accompanying series of books, Abigail plays Kit, a young girl growing up during the Great Depression who has big dreams of being a writer some day.  Aww, how inspiring.  Every once and awhile it's nice to see a young star so fresh and so free of drugs!  Also at the premiere were co-star Chris O'Donnell and his family, Will and Jada and their kids and Rachel Bilson and her little sisters.  My favorite shot is of Willow Smith (Will's daughter) who has some serious 'tude!  She is so a Bratz and not an American Girl!

       

Has Cameron Diaz lost her marbles and shaved off all her hair?!  She and Britney may have an ex-boyfriend in common but one thing they do not share is a panache for shaving their head when they get a little stressed. Cameron's chrome dome is due to a role in her new movie My Sister's Keeper. Cameron plays a mom whose daughter (Sofia Vassilieva) looses her hair after being treated for leukemia and shaves her head in support; Abigail Breslin plays her sister.

       

On the set of their new movie that is!  Cameron Diaz and Jason Patrick are currently filming My Sister's Keeper in Los Angeles along with their lil co-star Abigail Breslin. 

      

Cuteness!  Abigail Breslin became an honorary Girl Scout at the Zanuck Theater at 20th Century Fox Studios in Los Angeles last night.  Dressed in a red and white, polka dot dress, Abigail received the official sash and Girl Scot pin.  She look absolutely psyched (and adorable) to be the recipient of such a high honor; the rest of the Girl Scouts looked pretty excited too!

The leading ladies of Definitely, Maybe burnt up the red carpet at their NYC premiere last night.  Isla Fisher (can you believe she just had a baby!), Rachel Weisz and Elizabeth Banks all looked stunning.  Ryan Reynolds is the luckiest leading man ever!  Of course it should be mentioned that Ryan's mini co-star Abigail Breslin also looked adorable. 

Abigail Breslin is probably one of my favorite famous people right now, and she's 11.  I was basically sold after her performance in Little Miss Sunshine (that character is very reminiscent of me as a child; long brown hair, loves to dance and a little spazzy) but it was an interview she gave on Regis and Kelly that really impressed me.  She described with unbridled enthusiasm how excited she was to be in the American Girl Doll movie, and that she was herself a huge fan of a doll and the books.  How refreshing is that?  She can ac
