CELEBS ARE CELEBRATED AT THE NATIONAL BOARD OF REVIEW GALA

Celebrities are making the rounds on the awards circuit and last night's stop was at the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Awards Gala at Cipriani in Manhattan.

Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams and Dev Patel all came out to collect awards.  New parents Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts, Salma Hayek and Josh Brolin and Diane Lane were also in attendance.

In addition to the excitement of awards season, celebs were also buzzing about the inauguration. Anne Hathaway told Entertainment Tonight, "I am going," she says. "I'm very lucky I got to attend the Democratic National Convention and the Creative Coalition invited me to come with them. I couldn't be more thrilled. I think we have such a wonderful man as our president now, and everyone is ready for change."

BEN STILLER AND AMY ADAMS ARE BACK 2 WORK AT THE MUSEUM

We caught up with Ben Stiller and Amy Adams on the set of Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian currently filming in New York.   Ben once again will play the role of museum guard Larry Daley, but this time the action will take place inside the Smithsonian.  “We have a much broader palette, because it takes place at the Smithsonian, so there’s a bunch of different museums we get in and out of like the Air and Space Museum and the art galleries, we go into paintings and stuff,” Ben says.

He added that the new movie will make more use of CGI for scenes in which the characters will go in and out of paintings and photographs. Plus famous statues like The Thinker and The Lincoln Memorial will come to life.  We will also meet some new characters, such as Ameila Earhart played by Amy Adams, who apparently gets a little romantic with Larry!

Click through the gallery to see Larry, Amelia, some cavemen and some Attila the Hun-esque dudes.  I get kind of a Bill and Ted vibe from these shots, maybe at some point they all go for snacks at the Circle K?

AMY ADAM'S NEW 'DO

Oh Amy, that new haircut is uhhh...umm...interesting? We spotted Amy Adams with a new cropped hairdo, buuut luckily it was due to the fact that she's on the set of her new movie!  Amy is currently filming Julie and Julia in New York City, a story about a woman who decides to cook all 524 recipes in Julia Childs' cook book, Mastering the Art of French Cooking.  The character Julie blogs about all of her experiences and generates quite a following.  Meryl Streep is set to play Julia Childs.
