Actor Charlie Sheen reckons he's a good guy.

Today he pleaded not guilty in Colorado to domestic violence charges stemming from a Christmas Day incident with his wife.

Sheen entered his plea Monday to counts of menacing, criminal mischief and assault. A trial is scheduled July 21.

The star of "Two and a Half Men" on CBS is accused of putting a knife to the throat of Brooke Mueller Sheen while they vacationed in Aspen.

The maximum penalty for the most serious charge of menacing is one to three years in prison.

Actor Charlie Sheen showed up in Aspen, Colorado, this afternoon to face charges related to his Christmas Day arrest.

Sheen allegedly held a knife to his wife Brooke Mueller's throat after she reportedly threatened to leave him.

Pitkin County prosecutor Arnold Mordkin will announce whether he will file felony charges stemming from the Dec. 25 incident.

Mueller told police she feared for her life. He was arrested on charges of criminal assault, menacing and criminal mischief.

First he knew was when cops arrived at his house to say his vehicle had been in a smash.

After a somewhat eventful(to say the least)break in snowy Colorado, actor Charlie Sheen was back in LA yesterday.

He was clearly trying to get things back to normal after he was slapped with domestic-violence charges after allegedly beating up on his missus, Brooke

Turns out the Two and a Half Men star might need to work extra hard to pay the bills.

Underwear company Hanes said yesterday that it was dropping Sheen from its ads saying it was a "pretty standard, straightforward call" to make, given the allegations.

Sheen was arrested in Aspen on Christmas Day on charges that included felony menacing and domestic violence. His wife, Brooke Sheen, told police he put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.

   

After just two years of marriage, it looks like Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are headed to divorce court.

The not-yet-official news comes after Charlie was carted off to jail in Aspen, Colorado, following a marital bust-up which ended in Brooke alleging she was assaulted by the Two and A Half Men star.

But this morning it emerged that Brooke made up the allegation and was legally drunk at the time of making the 911 call - 8.49am on Christmas morning.

Charlie - an admitted alcoholic - was also found to have been drinking when cops arrived.

The couple, who have six-month-old twins, have now hired lawyers and Charlie will appear in court on February 8th.

According to reports, the couple were already in a trial separation and now, say sources, they will be heading for divorce court. Mueller is Sheen's third wife.

Anyone who's anyone knows that multiple births are so hot in Hollywood right now.  Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller can join that hot list as they gave birth to twin boys over the weekend!  The couple, who wed in May 2008, welcomed Bob and Max Saturday night.  Congrats!

Denise Richards put her battle with ex Charlie Sheen on hold yesterday when she had some mommy time with kids, Sam and Lola, in Malibu. Denise and Charlie have been butting heads over visitation rights to their daughters. And it all blew up at the weekend when Sheen said he wasn't allowed to hire his own nanny and Denise had sent a ''spy''(her assistant) to keep tabs on him with the kids. This is soooo messy!
