CHRIS BROWN: TOO BUSY FOR COMMUNITY WORK
Submitted by INF on Thu, 2009-09-10 16:37.
Bad Boy rapper Chris Brown has to juggle a very hectic music career with working off the hours he clocked up for slapping his former GF Rihanna.
Brown has to put the time in on the streets of Virginia, washing cars and cleaning up graffiti, to make amends for his crime.
But all we seem to see him do is jump in and out of limos, live it up in clubs and arrive at airports around the country.
So when will we actually see him with a paint brush in hand doing what the judge said?
Maybe never.

CHRIS BROWN SENTENCED TO HARD LABOR
Submitted by INF on Tue, 2009-08-25 16:47.
Bad boy Chris Brown got his comeuppance today for his cowardly attack on his one-time girlfriend, Rihanna.
And he's going to be painting walls and washing cars, possibly for the next FIVE years.
Sentencing was moved forward from Thursday because the singer wanted to get the case out of the way, so he can supposedly move on.
Brown admitted a felony assault charge for beating RiRi. He received 5 years (60 months) probation and 180 days of community labor. He has been told he faces jail if he goes within 100yds of his former lover, unless they are at an celebrity function.
Brown will do his community work in Virginia and the judge requested to know exactly what kind of punishment duties he will be forced to carry out as part of his sentence.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is working on her new album thousands of miles away in NYC.
We wonder what community services she thinks her ex should do?
CHRIS BROWN AND RIHANNA'S HOTEL MIX-UP
Submitted by INF on Mon, 2009-07-27 17:29.
Bad boy Chris Brown almost got himself in trouble with the law again after he rolled up in the same hotel as his ex girlfriend, Rihanna at the weekend.
Brown and Ri Ri somehow managed to find themselves checked into the Trump in NYC, but it wasn't long before Brow was hot-tailing out to find himself some new digs.
He's not allowed to get within slapping distance of Rihanna and he wasn't too eager to have his picture taken as he drove off with his security guards either.

CHRIS BROWN LOOKS SERIOUS AFTER LEAVING THE COURT HOUSE
Submitted by Mary Beth on Mon, 2009-04-06 21:22.
Chris Brown left L.A. County criminal courthouse late this afternoon in dark clothes after pleading not guilty to assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in February.
Donald Eltra, Rihanna's lawyer, made comments on her behalf outside the court room. Eltra said Rihanna would be pleased "if it [the case] were over quickly" -- as in plea bargain. Etra was asked what kind of deal would she want -- he said she recognized it wasn't up to her.
Rihanna has made it clear -- she does not want to go to court, although Etra says she will cooperate if ordered to do so.
It looks like a plea bargain is in the works...let's hope that there won't be a reunion too.
BREAKING NEWS: CHRIS BROWN DENIES ROUGHIN' UP RIHANNA
Submitted by Mary Beth on Mon, 2009-04-06 18:30.
Bad boy Chris Brown dragged his sorry butt to an LA courthouse minutes ago, to answer charges he gave his lover Rihanna one hell of a slapdown, which left her needing hospital treatment.
The media gathered in La La Land, awaiting the imminent arrival of Brown who, after dodging the cameras outside, stepped before the judge and denied assault and making criminal threats against his girlfriend.
We'll keep you posted with the goings on after the hearing but one thing was for certain, Rihanna was nowhere to be seen and wasn't standing by her man. Brown is due back in court on April 29.

Rihanna is slowly coming out of the shadows after her horrifying ordeal at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown. INF's photogs caught her entering an uptown office building in New York City tonight, wearing black leather legwarmers, a hot jacket with padded shoulders, her usual sunglasses, and wet-look hair. No sign of Chris anywhere though... We're kinda hoping it stays that way!
CHRIS BROWN BACKS OUT OF THE KIDS' CHOICE AWARDS
Submitted by Mary Beth on Wed, 2009-03-11 17:01.
Chris Brown has backed out of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice awards, despite the fact he is nominated by fans for two awards. His rep has released a statement stating-
"Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”
Yeah, thanks for that cuz pretty much any mention of your name at an awards show where the average viewer is 12-years-old would be really awkward!
CHRIS BROWN WILL REMAIN ON THE BALLOT FOR THE NICKELODEON KIDS' CHOICE AWARDS
Submitted by Mary Beth on Tue, 2009-03-10 15:08.Despite his legal troubles and a petition asking that he be removed, Nickelodeon is stating that Chris Brown will remain a nominee for both favorite song and favorite male singer at the upcoming Kids' Choice Awards.
A rep for Nickelodeon tells US Weekly, "Like all our KCA nominees, Chris Brown was nominated by kids several months ago based on his work as a performer, and the kids who vote will ultimately decide who wins in the category."
The same day Chris was charged with two felonies there was also a message on his official MySpace page asking fans to vote for him for him for the award.
Interesting that Nickelodeon doesn't want to wash its hands of Chris but something tells me that no one has to worry about him making an acceptance speech.
CHRIS BROWN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH TWO FELONIES
Submitted by Mary Beth on Thu, 2009-03-05 14:09.
TMZ is reporting that the L.A. County District Attorney has just charged Chris Brown with felony assault and making a criminal threat, also a felony.
Chris will be arraigned today at 3:30 PM in downtown LA. Given there were visible injuries, the crime of making criminal threats is punishable by up to nine years in prison.
New and gory details about what went down the night Chris Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna have been leaked on the internet.
According to FOX 11 in Los Angeles, which claims to have obtained the notes from a search warrant in the case, Rihanna read a lengthy text message from a woman on Chris's phone, which led to an argument. Chris allegedly tried to force his girlfriend out of the Lamborghini, and hit her head against the passenger window.
Chris then punched the singer while still driving, according to the detective's notes, and blood filled Rihanna's mouth. He allegedly told her, "I'm going to beat the ---- out of you when we get home." Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, "I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there." The police notes say that prompted Chris to reply: "You just did the stupidest thing ever. I'm going to kill you."
The report also says that Chris bit Rihanna and put her in a headlock, and that she almost lost consciousness.
These details have not been confirmed by LAPD, but I think the picture of Rihanna's battered face is proof enough that event was horrific.
We will bring more details as the case develops.

Submitted by Mary Beth on Mon, 2009-03-02 09:50.
Chris Brown jet skied around Diddy's waterfront property in Miami Beach over the weekend looking like he didn't have a care in the world.
Chris and Rihanna were reportedly invited down to Miami by Diddy so they could resolve their issues. A source tells People, "They are definitely together and care a great deal about each other. They feel like staying in and working through their issues. So far they have not wanted to go out."
Although they may be back on good terms, Chris could still face criminal charges pressed against him by the LAPD.
