Britney is getting her sh*t back together! She's revamped her look, her career and now it seems she's looking to make over her home.  We spotted Brit Brit putting some time in at Potter Barn in Beverly Hills yesterday; the singer picked up some scented candles and silk flowers. 
I'm so impressed by Britney's progress, she's getting gold stars all around!  I seriously can not wait to check her out on the VMAs, what do you think she'll do on stage?

      

Britney Spears seems to be doing better with each passing day.  We spotted the pop star spending time with her brother Bryan Spears in Los Angeles over the weekend. 

There's been a lot of buzz surrounding Britney's upcoming appearance at this year's VMAs, especially now that there's been talk of a duet with her and Justin Timberlake.  I think last year when people tuned in, it was more a spectacle, waiting for her to fail; however this year I think everyone is cheering Brit on and really want to see a good old fashioned come back.

     

It looks like the days of Britney mania are still alive and well.  We spotted a familiar scene yesterday; Britney being mobbed by paps, paps being threatened by the cops and of course Britney's legions of fans.  But Britney is different these days, no longer going out of her way to get attention from photographers, unfortunately some fans haven't realized that.  Check out two girls going a little too far when they start tapping on Britney's window.  Props to Brit Brit for showing restraint, I think a lot of people would have rolled down the window and slapped 'em!

Britney Spears is looking pulled together!  We spotted the singer dressed all in white, like the angel she was, leaving Sunset Plaza in WeHo after having lunch. Britney recently showed off her new toned body on the cover of Ok! and there's heavy speculation that she'll appear at the VMAs.  What do you think? Is Britney making a come back or is it too little too late?

   

If there were only three available babysitters left on the face of the planet and they happened to be Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears and Kevin Federline, who would you pick?  You must leave your child with one of the three, and sure, they may be what you consider to be a last resort but you must make a choice.  I think typically the public would go with someone who is a mother herself, however, the two Spears women are special cases and in a recent survey Kevin Federline was the clear winner!

In an iVillage survey, participants chose Kevin Federline five times more than both Britney and Jamie Lynn!  The website was collecting data on bad babysitting experiences and included a special poll about celebrity parents. 

Technically Kevin has proven himself as the better parent, as he now has sole custody of Jayden James and Sean Preston but to be fair I think Britney is on her way to better parenting.  She may not be the poster child for motherhood but it seems that she is getting her life in order these days, Jamie Lynn on the other hand has some years to prove herself. 

Tell me y'all, who would you pick; Brit Brit, K-Fed or Jamie Lynn?!  (And no, you can't pick Casey Aldridge either!)

Is Britney coming back to the MTV Video Music Awards???  We all know last year was a disaster, but maybe she's come back to redeem herself.  Check out the new promo for the VMAs with host Russell Brand while an elephant walks around behind them (get it?).  Britney is up for best female video and best pop video.

Oh how I love that double-chined smile of Britney's!  We spotted the rehabbed pop star leaving B2V hair salon in WeHo and for the first time since she shaved her head, I think her hair actually looks good! 
Word is that Brit Brit is shooting a clip that will be shown during Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour.  Will this really be the beginning of Britney's come back?!  She should be in good hands with Madonna but Madonna's got her own problems these day, does she really want to tackle old Toxic as well?  I can't wait to see what these two scandal-makers come up with!

      

Happy Independence Day blog fans!  July 4, is the day we set aside each year to commemorate when we won our independence from England way back in 1776, U-S-A!

But besides celebrating our freedom we can also celebrate the other things that make this country great, like celebrities.  What would our society be today with out Paris, LiLo, Brit Brit, Heidi and all the other reality whores, I mean uber talented stars? Shows like Gossip Girl and songs like Lollipop are woven into the fabric of this great nation. 

So tomorrow afternoon when you're snacking on a hot dog, popping open a PBR or watching the fireworks with a loved one, think about your favorite celeb...sure, "talent" may be a term to use loosely this day in age, but what the hell else would you do all day at work if you didn't have these fools to look at?!

Sean Preston and Jayden James have a new baby cousin! We spotted aunt Britney stopping at a convenience store after paying her sister Jamie Lynn and niece Maddie Briann a visit.  Do you think JL is going to let Brit babysit?
