Just days after giving birth to her second child, singer Carnie Wilson was out and about running errands in Los Angeles today.

Carnie smiled and waved to photographers saying she was ''feeling great'' after giving birth to daughter, Luciana Bella, as she dropped by her local doctor's office in West Hollywood.

Mommy-to-be Carnie Wilson was all smiles when we spotted her out shopping in Los Angeles today. The world knows the singer has longstanding issues with her weight, but for once she seems delighted to be putting on the pounds as she looks forward to being a mum yet again. She is due to give birth to a daughter next month.

    

We spotted Carnie Wilson in Tarzana, California yesterday.  The singer was getting some errands done, stopping at a car wash and a nail salon.  Carnie has been under some scrutiny recently as she put on the weight she lost from having gastric bypass surgery nine years ago.  "A gastric bypass patient needs follow rules," She said about her weight gain. "I fell off the bandwagon when I was pregnant... my eating habits changed." 
However Carnie has been working with a personal trainer and is trying to shed the unwanted pounds to set a good example for her daughter Lola. "I'm committed to my daughter. I want to be a light of hope for her," she added. "I'm not saying you need to be a size 6 ... you need to be healthy. That is the message I want to give to her."

     

We spotted Carnie Wilson going for a jog in Los Angeles yesterday and then later going to get her nails done.  Carnie has put back on a lot of weight since her famous gastric bypass surgery in 1999.  Carnie, who only stands 5'3 was up to about 300 pounds at her heaviest and after undergoing the risky surgery (which reduces the stomach to about the size of an egg) she lost about half her weight.  The surgery was broadcast on the internet and Carnie spoke about  it on talk shows; unfortunately after having two children Carnie has put much of that weight back on.  Carnie had this to say to OK! magazine about the weight gain, “I’ve never lied or been dishonest about what’s going on in my life.
