Lindsay Lohan was spotted out last night dining in downtown Manhattan looking happy to be spending time in NYC.. despite recent talk about her going to rehab, being addicted to prescription drugs, going to court, getting a restraining order against her father Michael Lohan, and also being dubbed as Donatella Versace's twin..

In today's NY Post, they report: "With their leathery skin, puffed-up puckers over over-bleached locks, LIndsay Lohan and Donatella Versace could have passed for twin sisters at Monday night's Whitney Museum gala on the Upper East Side."

Poor LiLo.. What ever happened to that fresh-faced redhead playing her own twin in The Parent Trap?!

While her old man is convinced she's a serial meds muncher and he's planning an intervention, Lindsay Lohan didn't look like she had a care in the world as she hit up a few high-end stores in NYC yesterday.

Fresh from a trip to Paris Fashion Week, LiLo was all smiles as she bagged some bargains in Chanel.

Still not over her split from lover Sam Ronson, Lindsay's outspoken dad Michael reckons his daughter is in desperate need of help and is struggling to cope with the situation.

Who knows what to believe, but maybe Michael should get himself some rehab at the same time...he might even get a 'buy one get one free deal' if he's lucky.

Is Lindsay Lohan hooked on prescription meds?

Well if daddy Lohan Michael is to be believed, the girl is...and she needs help fast.

Radaronline is reporting that Lindsay has a problem with certain forms of drugs and now her folks, or at least her old man, is planning an intervention very soon.

Either that, or dad Michael is once again trying to get his face back in the media spotlight.

And the best way to do that? Through LiLo, of course.

    

Lindsay Lohan certainly loves to shop when she's back home in New York.

So for three hours yesterday she hit up stores in downtown Manhattan, until she could take no more.

Tired and exhausted after sending her credit cards into meltdown, LiLo lit up a cigarette and sat on the floor inside one boutique, puffing away like her life depended on it.

We really hope Linds spent some serious cash in that store, because not everyone gets that kind of star treatment.

Later in the day, Lindsay went out for an evening with friends before heading off to her Long Island home where she's spending this weekend with her family.

Lindsay Lohan did a little bit of what she does best in LA yesterday...shopping.

We caught up with LiLo after she chowed down at a Hollywood restaurant, before she grabbed some DVDs at her local supermarket.

No sign of GF Sam Ronson though, so is the unlikely love affair still on? Who knows, and who gives a c@#p!!

We spotted Samantha Ronson looking glum following a club gig in London last night. Question is, where's Lindsay Lohan? The out-of-work actress hasn't been seen for a few days. Now the New York Post is reporting that she may trying to get out of showbiz altogether and concentrate on her forays into the fashion industry. It's even rumored that she is being hired as a consultant for the house of Emanuel Ungaro. Lindsay has her own line of leggings and also produces a fake-tan product.

She's so far off becoming an Hollywood icon it's untrue, but that doesn't stop super-skinny actress Lindsay Lohan channeling her inner star as she takes on the role of Marilyn Monroe in a glamorous photo shoot in Los Angeles.

We caught up with Lilo decked out in a blond wig and some sexy costumes as she was transformed into the movie legend.

Unfortunately, we reckon Lindsay needs to pack on a few pounds if she wants her figure to look anything like Marilyn's was. Have yourself a burger or two Linds, please!!

Lindsay Lohan was looking positively dowdy when she left on-off girlfriend Sam Ronson's place in LA earlier today. We don't know if it it was something SamRo said, but Lindsay looked none-too-pleased.

Ellen DeGeneres' interview with Lindsay Lohan was about as awkward as when David Letterman tried to amuse a bearded Joaquin Phoenix.  While LiLo didn't wear dark shades and stick gum under Ellen's desk, she was about as coherent and intelligible as Joaquin is these days, and the sad part is I don't think that this is an intended schtick.

Lindsay Lohan has is opening up about her break up and subsequent downfall from dating Samantha Ronson.

On an episode of Ellen that airs today, Lindsay talks to Ellen DeGeneres about what's really going on. LiLo claims the split came out of nowhere, "I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn't seen her in, like, a week. She, like, disappeared."  Right.  It was all gravy then poof! Sam was gone.

And what about that supposed restraining order that Sam's family filed against Lindsay (you know, that old thang), "I have no idea!" she laughs to Ellen. "What am I going to do? I was like, I don't understand. It came out of nowhere. I've supported Charlotte [Samantha's sister], and I've never done anything for people to assume I'm dangerous."

La Lohan adds she still has hope for her and Sam Ro, "I really care about Samantha and we'll see what happens," she says. "Maybe when we're fully in the right place. And I love her."
