People are quittin' showbiz left and right these days.  The latest person to say "I'm out" is British comedian Russell Brand.  We spotted Russ as he was leaving his agent's office in London yesterday, presumably checking out the entertainment industry want-ads.

Russell got himself into a bit of trouble this week when he and fellow comedian Jonathon Ross left some prank voicemails on an elderly actors phone as part of their radio show.  The pair continued to be lewd and rude and made comment's about the actor's granddaughter (whom Russell once dated). 

The BBC put the two on job suspension after they logged more than 10,000 complaints about Russell's on-air antics.  In a video-statement Russell stated, "I now acknowledge it was a really, really stupid thing to do.  I was being really silly and caught up in the moment."

With complaints still flooding in, Russell decided to resign.  Looks like his fresh mouth got him in trouble again (know how that goes).  Better luck next time, broseph!

    

Stepping out in an outfit that looked strikingly similar to what Katie Holmes was wearing today, comedian Russell Brand emerged from the Red Door restaurant in Los Angeles after dining with Britney Spears; I guess those VMA promos they did together really worked!

Brit and Russell exited separately to avoid the paps, but this relationship is far from low profile.  We all know Britney's past with men and Russell is an admitted drug and sex addict.  According to the Daily Mail, Russell told reporters he was back on the prowl after a three-month relationship with Australian Teresa Palmer, describing himself as  'footloose and fancy free'.

Match made in heaven? Let's hope not.  Britney needs friends, not more men to scandalize her.  Don't eff this up for her or us (her adoring public) Russell!

It was none other than British comedian and Forgetting Sarah Marshall star Russell Brand!  We spotted Señor Scuzzy as he was leaving the Soho Theater in London, hopefully he was on his way to buy a belt.
